I don't know what the hell is wrong with me. I haven't had motivation for anything. What was supposed to be a fun senior year of high school was ruined by a gigantic teacher strike, a big drug bust in the senior class and a complete lack of senior moments that past classes received. Several senior students in my school, including myself, have been a slump; nothing thrills us, nothing gives us hope.

This year has just been horrible so far. My car was crashed into while parked in the school parking lot, 8 seniors have been kicked out due to the drug bust (More are probably on the way), I'm barely passing my bio class...All senior moments have been rid of (no Medieval Times trip, no senior Halloween dress up)

Despite the giant teacher strike (which included no extra helps and no letters of recommendation), the work and tests have been piling up. My courses have been harder than ever and most of the NHS have been feeling the burn from this strike. Guidance counselors have been asking me and other NHS members to tutor kids because of the total lack of help from teachers. With all this stress, I haven't had a moment to even doodle tiny sketches on notes.

I need time to raise my spirits up. I need time to actually find time to sketch, work out, get all my school work done...everything. I have no motivation to even bother looking at old Matayaikon sketches. I feel so bad because Matayaikon was the one thing that kept me drawing...it was my passion. But with the way everything has been, it's been rough to get inspired.

I'm planning to take a hiatus until I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Everything will be better once all this has passed...once I get my college letters...I get my SAT scores tomorrow so that just adds another stress to my life if I have to take it again in November. I will leave DA with a deviation of my Halloween costume that I think you guys are gonna like. But after that, don't expect anything from me for quite sometime...
