This is my halloween costume. I'm being Helga Pataki from
Hey Arnold! With the help from my sister, ~
neptune42, we took old t-shirts and make a great costume out of it.
The wig was bought from Party City...y'know a nice cheap wig. I styled it myself and used part of an old t-shirt for Helga's pink bow. I'm still having problems getting the hair to stay up like it should but fair amounts of gel, hairspray, hairglue and even hot clue will get them up somewhat.
For the line in Helga's dress, I bought some red fabric markers and just colored...and colored...and colored. The dress is a little short, so I have to wear shorts underneath to keep the world from seeing my underwear.
I managed to find plain white shoes that my friend is letting me keep. After Halloween, maybe I'll get someone to paint them with a
Hey Arnold! theme just as a tribute.
A friend is lending me a locket she made to be just like Helga's Arnold locket. It's gonna be legit.
